Please review SIMS Medical’s Shoe Return Policy.  This policy is strictly enforced and to avoid unnecessary restocking charges, the policy must be abided by.   Ensure you are filling out all of your return paperwork completely, then placing each form in the patient’s shoebox to be returned AFTER obtaining a Return Authorization # from SIMS. 

TIP:  faxing your Shoe Return Forms to 1-866-933-2922 to obtain Return Authorization #s is fast and easy.  

Shoe Orders

In order to help us serve you better, we ask that all customers keep in mind the following to make our partnership the most productive it can be:

1.       Please fax in all your orders to 1-866-933-2922 using the Shoe Order Forms.  Faxing in your shoe orders ensures that the order is placed correctly at both our end and yours.  Moreover, it gives both us and you a hard copy record of the order placed, the shoe style & size, the patient’s name, and the date and time the order was placed. 

2.       Please use one shoe order form per patient shoe order.  Multiple orders on one sheet confuse our order entry system.  If you are ordering multiple pairs for stocking purposes, please use the Stock Order Form. 

3.       Orders for shoes with custom orthotics, should include both the Shoe Order Form and the Custom Orthotic Prescription Order Form WITH the plaster or foam cast.  It is important that these two order forms arrive together as it ensures that we match the orders for shoes and orthotics properly and the orthotics are correctly placed inside the shoes before shipping back to your clinic.

4.       Please verify patient orders upon receipt of the footwear, BEFORE booking the patient to return for pickup of shoes.  Although rare, if SIMS Medical is back ordered on a pair of shoes and is unable to meet the 1-3 day shipping turnaround, it would be inconvenient to your patient to be sent back without a pair of shoes.  Book them after you have received their order!

5.      Dr. Comfort shoes all include one pair of Elite Dr. Comfort inserts.  If you would like ADDITIONAL pairs of inserts, please check off the corresponding box on the Shoe Order Form when faxing in your orders.   Keep in mind that the Elite Inserts are made with Plastazote which is known to bottom out after a certain amount of time (generally speaking, 6 months).  Consider ordering additional inserts along with the footwear to give your patients the longest duration possible for wearing the footwear.  Now available are GEL plus inserts!  Please see the webpage "Accessories" for more details
